Installing and Updating FrontPage for Macintosh Users

Accessing the FrontPage Software Installation

You must be connected to the campus network to perform this installation.

1. Click on the Apple Menu
2. Select Chooser
3. Click AppleShare
4. Click Server IP Address...
5. In the "Enter the Server Address:" field, type in 172.16.33.22 and click Connect
6. Clic Guest if not already selected and click OK.
7. Select Student SW and click OK.
8. On your desktop, you'll now have an icon for Student SW. Double click that icon to open it.

Installing FrontPage for Mac

1. Open the Microsoft folder
2. Open the Microsoft Frontpage folder
3. Double click on Microsoft FrontPage Install icon to start the installation of FrontPage
4. Click Continue
5. Click Accept to accept he End-User license aggreement.
6. Click Install
7. Enter your Name in the Name field, and Quinnipiac University in the Company field.
8. Click Continue at the computer restart message.
9. Click Restart when prompted.

Updating Frontpage 1.0 to version 1.0d

1. Follow the above instructions for "Accessing the FrontPage Software Installation" then continue with Step 2.
2. Open the Microsoft folder
3. Open the Microsoft FrontPage folder
4. Double Click on the FrontPage 1.0d Update.hqx file.
5. Click Update
6. Click Quit
