All students participating in the trip will be required to receive multiple immunizations before the trip and will also be provide with preventitive medications.

A licensed nurse travels with the Quinnipiac Group so there will always be someone on hand in case of an emergency.

This is the 7th year that the Albert Schweitzer Institute has taken students down to Nicaragua, so they are very experienced in the process.

You will not have to deal with the worries from the typical spring break as your child will instead be helping to improve the lives of the Nicaraguan people through kindness and hard work.
