About Me

My name is Kim and I recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BS in Journalism. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters in Integrated Media and Communications at Quinnipiac University. I am from The Netherlands, but I grew up in Shanghai, China. Summer 2019 I had an internship with Leaf and Roses, a start-up tea company. I spent hours developing email campaigns and creating social media posts while learning how to start up a business from scratch.

This past spring I had an internship at JCQ Social Media, where I created Instagram and Facebook posts for real estate clients who hired the company to help them gain a social media presence. I currently have a remote internship with StormwaterONE, where I’ve been creating graphics for their social media pages and I’ve been helping them design an eBook.

I’m inspired by different cultures, adventures, stories, and lifestyles. I love to travel and
I’ve already been to 35 different countries over five continents and I speak four languages: English, Dutch, German, and Mandarin. My next travel destination is Antarctica.
