This is an example portfolio which demonstrates how to showcase your work on your own portfolio. You should use your portfolio to describe the contributions you made to a project, skills you used, your method of design, how you solved problems, etc.
Avoid explaining what you didn't do, unless it's needed to clarify your role.

Growing up after the war between man and machine, a child befriends an unlikely ally. Together they seek to end the conflict.
Play The Demo

Beep is one of my long-time indie game projects where I designed and created virtually everything in the game.

Programming

Raycast character controller allows for smooth movement where the player can chain together jumps and slides to build momentum and speed run the levels. Supports running, jumping, sliding, ledge grabbing, and moving platforms.

Dynamic camera system that smoothly tracks ahead of the players movement and has support for area-specific overrides to empower player and create cut scenes.

Art

I drew and animated all of the art assets for this game in Aseprite and GIMP. The art is meant to be functional and evoke an understanding of the state of the world.

I made a reflective water shader to help create a convincing art style for the sewer level.
