Accessibility

Designing materials so all learners, including those with disabilities, can access and use them.

Assessment

A method for measuring learning, which can be formative (ongoing) or summative (final).

Engagement

The degree to which learners are interested, motivated, and actively involved in learning.

Instructional Design

The process of creating learning experiences that are effective and engaging.

LMS (Learning Management System)

A software platform for delivering, tracking, and managing educational content (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

Learning Objective

A clear statement describing what learners should know or be able to do after instruction.

Multimedia Learning

The use of visuals, audio, video, and text together to support different learning styles.

Scaffolding

Providing temporary support to learners that is gradually removed as they gain independence.
